Daresbury Science & Innovation Campus in Halton has been confirmed as an Enteprise Zone and is one of eleven enterprise zones announced in the Governments second wave. The application was submitted by Halton Borough Council on behalf of the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnerships and is thought to be the only joint LEP Enterprise Zone application made to date. Langtree Group PLC are the private sector Joint Venture partner for the development of Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus.
Deeside has been confirmed as one of five welsh Enterprise Zones which could create 5,000 jobs on the site of the former RAF Sealand base. Spawforths are acting on behalf of one of the landowners Goodman.
