Spawforth's architecture team is headed up Dawn Jenkins RIBA and is made up of a creative team of chartered architects and technologists. The directors and associates responsible for the division are listed below:

Dawn Jenkins, ARB, RIBA, CMI, is a Chartered Architect and Creative Director at Spawforths with over eleven years experience of delivering services to public and private sector clients. In 2006 Dawn completed a Masters in Business Administration at Huddersfield University and is now a member of the Chartered Institute of Managers. She joined Spawforth’s in July 1999, having previously worked in private Architectural practice and teaching both Architecture and Interior Design at Leeds Metropolitan University and The University of Manchester. She is responsible for managing the Creative Design Team at Spawforths and has a proven track record as an experienced manager of people and resources with an ability to achieve goals in a cost effective and efficient manner. Through her natural communication skills, experience and entrepreneurial approach she has established a wide and varied portfolio of Architectural projects ranging from minor refurbishments to multi million pound new build projects for both public and private sector clients throughout the North of England and the Midlands.

Sarah Walters, Associate, BA (Hons), Grad Dip Arch, M.Arch, ARB RIBA is a Chartered Architect and Associate at Spawforths. She has a varied portfolio of work for a range of clients in both the private and public sectors including developers, private individuals, and commercial companies. Sarah has progressed her career with studies in marketing, health and safety, architectural professional practice and management.

Mike Chow, Associate, BA Arch, Dip.Arch, ARB, RIBA is an Urban Masterplanner and Chartered Architect at Spawforths. He has previously lectured at Huddersfield University on conceptual design and communication skills. He has a wealth of commercial experience in both the private and public work sectors.
His main expertise is in commercial business park masterplanning projects and city centre infill sites. He is responsible for liaising with key client’s to establish brief for architectural projects, taking from their inception to securing the planning consent for individual building to large multi acre sites. He prepares feasibility studies for potential sites and to generate initial design concepts to maximize development densities and assessing their viability prior to planning application.
He provides creative and sustainable design solutions and forecast tomorrow’s vision for today’s needs.
