Planning Applications and Negotiations

Summary

Planning permission was granted in October 2009 for the change of use of Hollycroft, a large traditional Victorian villa in York, from office use to residential.

The proposal took into account both the historic context of the building and its location adjacent to a Conservation Area.

Spawforths sucessfully negotiated the change of use despite policy constraints, providing an employment needs assessment, demonstrating the building was no longer viable or appropriate for modern office requirement.
