Summary
Chester-based developers, Bell Developments Ltd, have announced a detailed consultation process on a new £200 million Student Campus at Meadowbank Canal in Chester. IDuring the coming months, Spawforths will be engaging with local residents, businesses and students on the preliminary proposals for between 800 and 1,200 student flats, along with a range of supporting services and sporting facilities.
The first round of consultation will comprise of drop-in exhibitions; presentations to local interest groups; and the creation of a series of local discussion groups, where interested parties can explore what the project might mean for them. In tandem with these events, further detailed discussions are also planned with local councillors, Cheshire West and Chester Council, the University of Chester and Chester Renaissance.
