Summary

Spawforths have submitted an outline planning application with an Environmental Statement to Bassetlaw District Council for the redevelopment of the colliery site.  The proposals include 2,044m2 of food retail store fronting Scrooby Road as well as the erection of up to 996 new homes and 76,645m2 of employment space.    The retail development will kick start regeneration in Harworth Bircotes and the proposals will restore a vacant and underused colliery land.
